Junk Science coming to a school near you

"Rocks Around the Clock: The Eons That Never Were"

Very interesting stuff going on in the United States these days for sure. Schools are being increasing forced to take on teaching Christian Religious dogma. I would have no objection to this were it being taught along side many other religions and beliefs to enlighten and inform.

That is not the case. They are primarily using the schools to indoctrinate young minds, to recruit young children into a faith system using the public schools as chief recruiter. These people are teaching "Intelligent Design", the new term used to describe how the belief of creationism can be "explained". It takes a big leap of faith and cult acceptance to get there, yet it is prevailing in the land of the free.

The New Yorker had this to say ...

"...Biologists aren't alarmed by intelligent design's arrival in Dover and elsewhere because they have all sworn allegiance to atheistic materialism; they're alarmed because intelligent design is junk science..." ~ MASTER PLANNED, Why intelligent design isn't. by H. ALLEN ORR

Intelligent Design is described by its adherents as ...
"The theory of intelligent design (ID) holds that certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause rather than an undirected process such as natural selection. ID is thus a scientific disagreement with the core claim of evolutionary theory that the apparent design of living systems is an illusion." ~ Intelligent Design Network, Inc.

Enough of the bunk, check out The Gazetteer on this one, Creationism rising .
