Fire in the Valley
The Okanagan has another fire, this one across Okanagan Lake from Kelowna near Rose Valley. Some 600 to 700 people have been evacuated from their homes. The RCMP report this morning that the fire is over 50 ha in size and has not damaged any homes to date.
Thise evacuated have not been allowed to return. Here is a link to Castnet Video of the fire at Rose Valley Fire.
